So my girl friend is getting more into park riding this year and her skis are....to put it lightly extremely out dated. I have been a park rat for years, ride Line, and love the company. But I do not know too much about girl's skis. What companies are reputable for the ladies and what would you suggest is a good starter ski for a girl getting more involved in park riding? She is a strong all mountain skier now, but wants to get into the park game more. The only thing I would suggest is a ski that isn't too too floppy. I like a stiffer ski myself and for all mountain riding, which she will still be doing a substantial amount, I do not enjoy riding a ski with no support. I know k2, armada, and rossi have a fair amount of park/all mountain skis....
Anyone have any insight to a good sturdy ski that she will enjoy and help her progress? With it being her first year involving herself in the park, I don't need to break the bank on her first pair of park related skis. So I'm looking for a good, sturdy, reliable ski that can take a beating. Any insight? All help much appreciated.
