Line skis pulling out?

my local ski shop was saying that they have problems with line skis pulling out of bindings because they r too thin. i kinda was sensing BS though cause he was kinda biased toward armada. he was like i mount them so i know, line's skis are too thin to mount right. he was saying it was more a couple years ago but do you guys know anything about this cause if this is true i was thinking about getting quiver killers to make the griffons im gonna mount on my chronic crips stay in better. so do i need inserts to keep in my bindings or is this guy full of BS?  He might have been talking about lines cap construction skis (mastermind and prophet) though cause they are thinner then the sidewall ones and he couldnt remember which skis exactly and the chronic crips are sidewall but idk

line skis are fine. there are some lame ski techs out there, who think that you cant mount center because they are too fucking lazy to find the proper size of screws. i got my bents mounted 2 years back, and the fucking dumbass drilled the screws through the base, and told me that it was a risk involved with any mounting process... end of story: dont get a dumbass to mount your skis/rant

 +k ill ask him if this is what he was talking about and if he has trouble mounting these and if soill just go somewhere else to mount them

well k2/line both use very cheep cores, so yes they are at a higher risk to pullouts, but if the tech isn't a dumbass you should be fine

i heard that line used to use bad cores, but now they use good ones. what i heard was that they used to use foam cores but now they use maple macroblock

well the post really wasnt about them pulling out from having bad cores the post was more about them pulling out from being too thin sooo yea

Line's had its troubles in the past, but they've been pretty solid the last few years. I cant say I've heard about people pulling their bindings out moreso than other skis.

ive skied over 140 days in a year on one pair of lizzies and im at over 200 on my current pair

lizzies are probably the thinnest ski you can find, not to mention wide
both are mounted w/ fks which have a narrow bolt pattern

so pretty much best case scenario for a pull out, and ive never had an issue. find yourself a good shop/tech and have them hook it up

and as far as im concerned line skis, well lizzies anyway are durable as can be, im stocking up lizzies for the next 5 years.

three or four skis, isn't their full line and therefore it is irrelevant for you to say that line as a brand sucks.

I think what the ski tech may be referring to when he's talking about 'a few years ago' is when Line came out with their own set of bindings, the Reactors.

The Reactors were a good concept, but the design was fucked up, and they all basically tore out (bindings fault, not the skis). They were stopped after one round of development, but were a BIG deal because of how often they pulled out.

Also, K2 owns Line, so they do use the same type of core, but you should be safe as long as the techie does his job correctly, even if there is some 'malfunction' with the design.
