its seems that as the years pass more and more places lose their diving boards. I can only think of one place that isn't a university within an hours drive of me that has a diving board. They too have been told for years that they should get rid of them. no one in the place's existence has gotten hurt on them so why take them away? There was even a special on 60 minutes i watched on it. I don't wanna grow up and tell my kids that there used to be these things called diving boards and they were soo fun. I understand the lawsuits might happen, but if there hasn't been any serious injury on any that i can think of why take them away? why take away the only fun part of swimming? If someone gets hurt why should it be the diving board or the place that is nice enough to still offer them to you's fault? Anyone's thoughts before its too late
