Mac Book Pro Viruses?

is it better to dload lime wire or frost wire, is it gunna slow down my mac? wondering this because i heard macs cant get viruses? +k for any help

i have downloaded limewire onto my mac and the only way it slows your mac down is when limewire is running just because it is a large sized program. it does eat up some of your memory if you're not careful with it but it's really not a big problem. you shouldnt be worried about viruses with your mac. i've had mine for about 4 or 5 years now and i have looked at many many things on the internet and downloaded massive amounts of files and it still runs fine. no viruses, no problems.

You can put just about anything on your computer if you download the wrong file, it's not impossible.

You don't need to worry about viruses, cause there isn't any :P
I use to load with Limewire in the past, but it was so sticky, that I changed.
Nowdays I have Vuze, which works sooo smoooooth on my MacBook.
Just be sure, that there is littlebit spare space on your hard disk. If it is too full, it will make your computer a bit slower.

ive had limewire on my macbook pro for almost a year now and no problems at all except getting a ridiculous ammount of music! You'll be fine if you get it and plus frost wire sucks. Its really complicated compared to limewire too and doesnt even have half the music. Youre computer will be fine as well. Macs rock!

well now that limewire is under investigation and has halted their program i would just use vuze, for the whole sharing of files is affecting the government saying its illegal
