Testing my Redrock m2 setup

WOW so i finally got my m2 image to as sharp as i wanted, filmed around quick check it out! Some shots aren't perfect, i know, but so much potential is here, im so stoked.

yeah that 28mm has a pretty small rear element, i dunno i like it personally.

Looks really nice, not a fan of that much vignette, I think that was my issue with your 09/10 best shoots edit too...but its not the end of the world haha, you make great edits, just not feeling the vignette to the extreme....

So this video's vignette wasn't done in post?

my whole setup was 1100. I sold 16gb p2 card (it was useless) for 400 bucks so i spend 700 out of my pocket, the price of a t2i body. In my situation its the better choice. hvx w/35mm >hddslr.

Very different look.

One downside to an adapter is lowlight though, which is actually a STRENGTH of a HDSLR.

I prefer the 35mm look usually myself but you lose a few stops of light.

So yes, 35mm adapters and DSLR's are similar in the fact that they allow for shallow DOF via interchangable lenses, but the overall end result can be much different.

Looks nice. Personally I like DSLRs more, cause of lowlight capabilities, bigger sensor, size and weight.
