Ok I know how you are normally supposed to take off pole grips by heating them up and pulling, i have done it before, but this is different. On goode poles (im not sure of the model name but they are a brown and white fade color and the grips are white and black) There is a bolt you can loosen at the bottom of the grip and i did this, heated them up and pulled to no avail. I can not get these things off, i checked their website and apparently this grip can be rotated to make the pole shorter. Has anyone had any success getting these off or at least rotating them to make them shorter? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried taking it into a shop?
Some shops in my city shorten poles for free, and you might have a store near you that might take a look at your poles...

My local shop hasn't opened quite yet because they are moving but if I don't figure it out by then I'll have them do it. Thanks! Any other ideas out there?

the best way to get pole grips off is heat up the grip with a hair dryer to expand the grip, then jam it in a door (no joke) close the door below the grip, and pull on the basket side of the pole... heat is key and will make your life a lot easier!
