so there was a short thread about this in NSG, but I thought I'd take the time and post this here. I saw this video last night high as balls, and as a serious musician, I was fucking appalled.
instead of writing a page essay dissing Kid Cudi and Kanye West as musicians, I'll just say that Cudi and Kanye take the image of Jimi and the rock n roll lifestyle and rub it in the dirt. I am forever boycotting Kid Cudi and Kanye West because of this music video.
Maybe I'm taking the video too seriously, but come on, this music fucking sucks and they are making stacks by looking like something they are not, true musicians. Hendrix doesn't deserve this bullshit.
