I am looking for a set of winter/snow tires for this upcoming season. NS obviously being a bunch of skiers should have some info/help for me.
Car is a b5 S4- tires will be 225/45/17 on the stock wheels all around-
here is what I have found so far-
Dunlop Wintersport 3D
Dunlop Wintersport M3
Blizzak WS60( problem is they are only speed rated to 105mph)
Blizzak LM20
from what I hear the blizzaks have amazing traction but the WS60 is too low of a speed rating, and that once they wear through the silica level they're shot
any other tires I should be looking at- living in PA/DC only a couple of days of snow on the roads per year but lots of slush/sleet
