Winter Tires

I am looking for a set of winter/snow tires for this upcoming season. NS obviously being a bunch of skiers should have some info/help for me.

Car is a b5 S4- tires will be 225/45/17 on the stock wheels all around-

here is what I have found so far-

Dunlop Wintersport 3D
Dunlop Wintersport M3
Blizzak WS60( problem is they are only speed rated to 105mph)
Blizzak LM20

from what I hear the blizzaks have amazing traction but the WS60 is too low of a speed rating, and that once they wear through the silica level they're shot

any other tires I should be looking at- living in PA/DC only a couple of days of snow on the roads per year but lots of slush/sleet

blizzaks all the way..sorry i cant be more of a help but its the only tire my family has even run on their sedans

Yeah I feel like the blizzaks are the way to go.

Everyone I hear that has them loves them.

I was going to recommend the tires I have on my Jeep, but then I noticed this was not for a SUV

alright- well the LM60s will fit, they have a decent review- and their H Speed Rated so I can deal with that- they dont make winter tires above H rating :(

When the fuck do you really go over 105? especially in the winter?

And blizzaks are tight, my parents had them. If you wanna spend less money check out cooper weather masters/storm master. I cant remember the exact name, but i've been rocking the cooper studless(i think, might have the option) winter tire for the past 4 years on my legacy. They're fucking bomb and i've have great results with them.

I hit 110 at the top of 4- whenever I pass people if I stay on it 105 is nothing

not trying to be a bragging douche but Ive gone over 105 twice today

I guess you do have an S4, but where the fuck do you go 105 so much? Do you drive on freeways a lot? I still drive fast on the freeway but never much faster than 90 at times. Again, i have a legacy you have a S4, i'd prob hit 100 daily if i had an S4 too.

yeah- lots of freeway- i dont do 105 on city streets hah- its just that winter around here is mostly dry with snow- and when it snows I just want to make sure I get to the resort- right now I have summer tires on and that wold be bad news bears
