i don't think gays should get married.

date, make out, fuck each other; i really don't care, that's your business. but marriage is something between a man and a wife i don't think a same sex couple deserves that same title or those benefits.

let's hear it. i want you to tell me why a gay couple who has loved each other for years shouldnt be able to make medical decisions for their partner, why they shouldnt get tax breaks, why they shouldnt be able to visit their partner in the hospital or prison, why they shouldnt have crime victim recovery benefits, etc etc etc

the phrase "and it came to pass" appears more than 2000 times in the book of mormon. Joseph Smith was a genius for writing it because it allowed him to gain his own personal army and protection. The entire religion is based on the idea that there is always a valley to expand into, which made sense back then, but now is completely flawed. Joseph had over 40 wives from various places across the US and many of them did not know of the others.

Trust me, i have done my research, the mormon religion is racist, sexist and really flippen weird.

Whats scarier are the polygamist communities that are not officially part of the church of laterday saints. These communities eat up government money and constantly allow children under the age of 15 to get pregnant.

of men can marry me and women can marry women, who's to say that's where we draw the line? why can't a woman marry one of her cats she's lived happily with for the past decade? or a man marry the dog he grew up with?
it has nothing to do with god whatsoever. i don't believe in god and even if i did i would like to hope that i could have the human decency to look passed that.

like i said, i have nothing against the homosexual community. if that's what makes you happy, you have every right to go after it and live that lifestyle. i personally just believe that marriage still stands for something. that it's a lifelong commitment between a man and a wife. it's a principle that's pretty important to me and when/if gay marriage is legalized nationally, it will make the whole "marriage" thing mean a whole lot less than it does already. (which is basically nothing)

look, its a proven fact that you dont become gay, you are born gay. And the slippery slope argument can be applied to almost anything.

And the difference between marrying a human and marrying an intimate object or cat is that they cannot sign wedding vows or make any important medical decisions.

and for all you people who say the bible says being gay is not ok, you are correct, however it also says that...

It should be legal to smoke crack, who's to tell you what you can or can't do to your body.

When you interfere with someone else's body is where the line needs to be drawn. Should it be legal to kill animals? Sometimes population control is necessary as we've driven out the major predators, but for personal enjoyment? Seems pretty disgusting to me.

can I see some empirical data on that from someone that isn't gay or has a gay relative?

only 20 years ago homosexuality was considered a mental disorder.  This has now changed, but isn't is possible that it changed because of the power and authority that many homosexuals have in both our scientific and pop-culture communities? 

perhaps homosexuality is a mental condition that some people have began coping with rather than trying to cure?  I want to see proof that homosexuality is any different than obsessive compulsive disorder or depression.
