thats not the first time the cable car has been jumped. they used to let shane(rip) do it, and now they let mike do pretty much whatever he wants

I know its not the first time its been jumped, anyone who rides tahoe or knows a little about mcconkey knows its been done...I wasnt saying its the first time its been done...

but this is the first time I've seen footage of it poached, obviously illegally.

They have never let Mike, nor Shane, jump from the Cable Car. JT is "officially" the only person that has ever jumped from the Cable Car. They went so far as to jokingly make a point of it last year for the 50/60 anniversary at Squaw when JT jumped. And it wasn't easy to get up there, or on, and not be caught or injured.

well i kinda knew somthin was gunna go down cuz u could here them. i think the tram operator did to but all the fuckin tourists would get all freaked out if they knew there were people that were gunna jump off so it was kept on the downlow untill they actually did jump. I dont think anyone called 911 but you never know. i thought it was pretty epic and really wish i had a camera. (i live in squaw /claim)

haha, in an Absolut world!

here in Idaho we have the only legal BASE jump area in the US. Look up the Perrine bridge in Twin Falls, ID. Pretty bad ass as well. People just drive up, park their car, walk to the bridge, stand on the platform and jump all day long haha, its a cool sight.

For some reason Squaw Valley thinks this was Mike Wilson.... not Mike Hargrove. They banned Mike for life from Squaw for this. I hope everyone realizes this wasn't Mike, but there will be some cool footage that everyone will see soon.
