Replying to Fujifilm HS10: Too Good to be true?

I just found out about what seems to be a pretty epic camera released fairly recently by Fujifilm. I know a lot of people have been getting on the DSLR program for shooting video, and with the interchangeability of lenses and well priced combination of good video and photo capabilities in one package it seems to make sense. Like many, I've been drooling over the 7D, t2i, and most recently the 60D. While the prices are reasonable for what you are getting, I still considered these out of my price range especially once you start buying lenses.

Well, all of that may have changed with Fujifilm's new HS10 "DSLR". I use the quotes because it's far ahead of any simple point-and-shoot, however it doesn't have an interchangeable lens. Now I'm not suggesting this to be a replacement for any of the Canon's that I mentioned earlier, but rather a sort of little brother. I'm not a camera expert like many of you, but it seems to me like there is a lot of upside to this camera. It can shoot 1920 x 1080 at 30p and 1280 x 720 at 60p (60p doesn't have sound), it has a tilting LCD screen, the lens is 24-720mm (35mm equiv.) and it can shoot up to 10fps (albeit for 7 frames). Sure, some capabilities are limited, but that is to be expected for what it is, especially considering the camera is priced at only $380. Again, it's no 7D or 60D, but for someone who is looking to get more into filming/shooting but is a relative noob and wants some fire power, this seems like a decent option. Anyways, enough of my babbling, I'm serious to see what you camera savvy NS members have to say.
