How often do you shampoo your hair.

 I was talking with some girl today and she told me that it was bad to wash your hair everyday because of oils or some shit. Am i the only one who washes his hair everyday?

That is true, however I have really oily skin/hair so I shampoo it every day or else it turns into natty dread lock

Every morning, but i have relatively short hair and i only use a little shampoo unless i'm really filthy.

On a similar note, cold showers are apparently better for your skin than hot ones.

i got my hair cut real short like a week go, now i dont give a fuck and shampoo err day.


before that it was almost shoulder length and i wouldnt wash it for like 5 days and shit for the ultimate in grease factor. shit would look so sick though.

I wash my hair everyday because I do not like having greasy looking hair.

As I understand it you can wash your hair everyday, just don't put shampoo directly on your scalp since that is what actually washes the oil away, not the water

I used to have a big ass mane, sometimes when i felt lazy I wouldn't touch it for days. But I washed it everyday for the mot part. Now I have my short curlz and I wash everyday, but I can get away with it if I don't

I don't shampoo at all. It gives me insane dandruff for some reason when I do. I use a very small amount of soap. It's not that big a deal because I keep my hair short. When it gets longer, than I pay the price for shampooing. I have insanely thick hair, and if I shampoo it then it basically turns incredibly poofy and turns into an afro that can't be tamed unless I use gel, but then I look like a guido, and that doesn't fly.

err' day because i have super super thin platinum blonde hair and it gets super greasy and nasty and weird if i dont every day. also, threads like these succeed because people think that other people care about their bodily functions/daily lives and like to talk about them acting like anybody other than themselves cares

I have a short hair now so I shampoo prob every third day, but I wash it with water everyday. When I had that sexy long hair I'd shampoo once every week or two and just wash it with water every day or it would look flat and gay.

every other day in winter, unless i'm skiing every day and wearing a toque, then its just whenever i have plans haahaha. its usually the same in summer, i try to wash it as little as possible without looking like a greasy wet dog. the natural oils are really good for your hair so i try and let it do its own thing most of the time.
