Was Revolver really that bad?

All I hear is hate about it. Just ordered it and I have continuous confidence in Poor Boyz that they put out a banger film every year. Besides using a lot of dubstep and "too much powder/backcountry" (are you people on crack?) what was so wrong with it. I'm pretty excited to get it in the mail...

I really loved Julien Regnier seg w/ the POV footy and I felt the song "Living Darfur" actually fit pretty good and it was just fun to watch and got me the most stoked on skiing....the rest was just too much choppy editing and not really a fan of the rest of the music.

A movie has still never got me stoked on skiing as much as Poor Boyz Idea. I can rewind peps opening butter 5 a million times and still feel warm inside.

After seeing it I liked it. There like wasn't really a superpark segment and a lot of people didn't get that many shots but there were multiple banger segments. The music did kind of suck, but none of it was dubstep. It was just general bad electronic music.

I bought Revolver and Itunes, and I really don't see what all the hate was for. Sure they reused alot of songs, had alot of powder skiing and dubstep, but I enjoy pow and dubstep, so I enjoyed the movie. In a weird way, it left an impact on me more than Eye Trip, the first time I watched Eye Trip I kept waiting for it to get better and it didn't really, then I liked it more each time I watched it, but Revolver impressed me the first time I watched it. Both are really good movies, don't hesitate to buy either one

Not at all in my opinion. I thought it was sick but it completely depends on who you ask, I mean with all the hyphy jibster purely park and nothing else skiers on ns of course they're not gonna like how there's a noticeable lack of park in the movie and I'm sure they can find plenty of other things to complain about as well because they always do

Honestly i liked it a lot, danes part was sick but not as mindblowing as edias (just because his segment in edias was so hard to top) , jossi's, jp's, sammy's and the rip cr part was soo sick imo, lj and sammy killed it.

Anyone even thinking about buying the movie should! Yeah, the music got old but the skiing was mind blowing. I was stoked beyond beleif after watching it, and thats what like in a ski movie! FUCK YEAH. Skiing in less than 2 weeks!

Here is the thing with the hate I have read on here. I have noticed that everyone who hates goes, "Revolver sucked except for ________'s part and __________'s part."

Thing is, everyone seems to fill those blanks with different names. So you can pretty much rest assured it has some sick parts in it.

I enjoyed the movie. Maybe a bit on the long side, but they had a lot to show. It'd be worth it just for JP and Julien but there's a ton there.

It's a bit long but I thought it was very good. Also it's a ski movie, you watch it and get stoked on skiing, it's not trying to win an oscar.

Eye Trip is great, but I have to say Revolver has much much much better big mountain/pow segments. Both JP and Julien's were awesome as was Dane Tudor. I don't like rail and urban, so those segments in Revolver were boring as hell to me, I think Level 1 does a better job with that stuff editing wise at least.

Just watched eye trip and revolver back to back and both are sick. Id say revolver might have more of the bigger and more jaw dropping shots but eye trip easily makes up for it with a banging soundtrack and creativity as well as style.

I think you have to see both though, they are good in different ways.

PS: Dumont went HUGE in those last couple pipe shots in Revolver

It was sick, but i definitely liked EDIAS more. It's just a little long. Honestly though I don't like watching pow segments that much. Like that doesn't mean I like park and BC booters and urbans more than pow. I just like watching it in a movie more.
