okay heres the info
the scott punisher jib (p3) is a okay ski. this ski is similar to the
salomon suspects in regards to them being a competition ski. They are
primarily a jump ski since it is stiff, and the durability on rails is
not good at all.
The armada ar7 would be the best choice. armada is known for making
bombproof products, and the ar7 is one of their top skis. The ar7 has
the ar50 sidewall construction (blend of cap and abs sidewall
construction). The cap construction makes the ski lighter and making the
swing weight lower, and the abs offers durability underfoot and
forgiveness to handle rail abuse and the impact when landing. The ar7
has a stiff flex and can offer stability on large jumps, but the flex
provides the ability to do butter, presses, etc.. The ar7 is wider
underfoot than the punisher jibs and the past armada ar6 models, which
is good for all mountain and more surface area on jumps and rails. The
ar7 has armadas standard base material but is still quite fast. The ar7
is a serious ski and you will definitely get your money's worth out of
them
I mean no offense but.. Scott's skis have some serious durability issues...
I pm'ed this guy earlier in the year because i thought i was going to buy his p3's and he messaged me pictures of his completely cracked, smashed edges after having the skis for 2 weeks..
Yeah man AR7's all the way. I just got myself a pair. I have ridden armadas a few seasons and never had any problems like I had had previously. They will last for sure.
ar7s are so sick,I thought they would be too stiff but 2 of my friends have t halls and they are softer than the t halls...Weird,and the site says they are stiffer.Get ar7s you wont regret it,dirty light.
