10k/10k is not adequate for Baker/Whistler, especially if you sweat easily and doubly so if the jacket is insulated. The jacket will soak through after a wet powder day (say temperature is right around freezing, rain at the parking lots and snow half way up) and faster if you are hiking or it is actually raining. I upgraded from an Orage 10k/10k to an eVent shell last year, it's a night and day difference, so much more comfortable, stay perfectly dry and it dumps heat fast while hiking or on the lift.
Armada used eVent on the Galatica shell last year but switched to another fabric this year due to manufacturing issues, but their top of the line shell (Tracker) would be an awesome choice if you can afford it. Otherwise get a Goretex Pro-shell, Burton AK is a good choice and you can find it cheap on eBay. Trust me, unless you really do not produce heat/sweat while you ski, get a high end shell if you ski in the PNW.
