What do you guys think of Columbia?

I'm a junior in high school, so I'm just now starting to think about college. I figured, newschoolers is the most informative website on the internet, so i might as well come to you.
I obviously would like to ski, which would probably be an issue, but i really dont know much about NY skiing. East coast seems fine for me, I like rails anyway.
As far as a major goes, I'm interested both in film and business.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

My sister is junior in hs, and Columbia is her top choice. Im up at Fordham (Bronx) and I gotta say living in NYC is out of this world. There's never a time when you have nothing to do. I skied 45 days freshman year and 44 sophomore year, this year is my first year with a car on campus so I'm shooting for 60+. Columbia is an incredible school if you can get in (I wish I would have looked into it before I came to school, I was pretty set on Fordham.) I can't answer much about the school itself, but if you have any questions about going to school in NYC shoot away. I know I'm extrapolating here, but if you're at all interested in Fordham hit me up in a pm, id love to show a prospective student around. Im in the business school for finance (and I like to think I'm very involved), and I have a good friend in film so wecould give you info on both sides of it. The business school just got a $25 million donation a few weeks ago too, so they might be more apt to help put with financial aid.
Either way, good luck in the search, if you're looking in NYC you're already looking in the right place.
