I'll stick to my Folgers medium roast as long as i'm on a college budget. it has the biggest caffeine kick of any cheap coffee and it tastes pretty good. If i'm going to spend a little more money, any authentic Hawaiian kona will do the trick. the shits so damn good.
Starbucks is overrated and doesn't support our troops so i usually try to avoid them like the plague.
i drink coffee nonstop, probably 8 cups a day at work. I don't really like starbucks as their coffee always tastes sort of burnt and just not delicious, dunkin donuts is much better. I'll drink any coffee though and I only drink it black.
my girlfriend has seduced me though and now I drink cappuccino whenever I am with her because she has an espresso maker and she makes amazing cappuccino.
i couldnt agree more! i hate starbucks to, since i drink it black (like yourself) its just way to dark for me to handle. my favorite coffee of all time now is Lacas though.
i drink a lot of coffee. i love that first cup in the morning with breakfast to really start my day off right. i just recently switched to black and must say that i prefer it over cream and sugar. i started to realize a lot of the coffee i liked before was shit without cream and sugar, so black really turns you onto the best types. i like green mountain coffee roasters espresso blend quite a bit. and in montreal i like presse cafe and van houtte.
I just started really drinking coffee about 2 months ago and I already can't wait for the first cup in the morning. I'm kinda girly when it comes to coffee though... I either use hazelnut or french vanilla creamer haha. Can't drink the stuff black.
I have a cup of coffee before my early classes, but otherwise I don't really need it. Right now I have some organic Colombian stuff which is pretty good, and as others have said, only black coffee for me. Cream and sugar just makes it taste bland.
haha, the second i saw a pink name in this thread i knew the post waas going to relevant to starbucks. im sorry, but marble mocha isnt exactly coffee. its like how blizzards at DQ arent really ice cream.
i like to go there to work on my novel...well i don't work on my novel, i just tell everyone about my novel and ask for ideas for my novel eventhough i won't use their ideas for my novel
If its beans, I've got my favorites up in Seattle. Lighthouse roasters in Fremont makes a damn good cup. Oregon coffee is less interesting, stumptown and MT hood roasters are pretty good. Strangely though, my favorite store brand is Dunkin Doughnuts dark, pretty good for ground mix.
