Music is a personal prefrence, there is no point in telling everyone else to like what you like, or what they like is shit. its what they like, and maybe to them what you like is shit. I like emo, im not an emo bitch, i dont have peircing, never died my hair, havnt tried to kill myself, i dont cry in a cornr all the time, I have a girlfriend and an awesome relationship. so if you want this argument to be settled, then you have to realise that people have very spicific tastes and not everyone will like the same thing.

The majority who cry are girls who think chris carrabba (the guy from dashboard) is god.

But girls cry because of the dumbest reason. Thats why i strongly believe in the donkey punch to keep them in line.

Stupid fat emo chicks should be shot in the face. I hate them.

And as for the guys that cry because of listening to emo, well, they're just realizing they're going to eventually come out of the closet someday. 'Cause they're pussys. They should be shot too.

I'm a fan of emo music. I like it because I can relate to it. I'm not in the ghetto dreamin' about cars and bling, so rap is lost on me. But I am a person that interacts with the opposite sex. Frequently. So I can relate to the music that talks about that. Most of emo is about how girls fucked the guys over and now this music that they create is a way to get back at them. To me, I see emo as a 'fuck you' to the girls who have pissed me off for a number of reasons. But I'm not in an emo band to say fuck you to those bitchy girls. That's why I rely on donkey punches and the golden shower and saying 'oh what a lovely tea party.'

um ok, every kindof music in the world that one person likes is good. Yes, EVERY kind of music. You have to realise that if someone lies somethng tehre must be something in it that you can like, you just have to take the good from things. I personally think I can say I like all music. I prefer some kinds to others immensly but I definitely can find things to appreciate in all kinds.

I'm pretty sure Elliot Smith is now considered emo, but what everyone thinks is emo is different that what it really is, like true 'emo' was like the Blood Brothers(also know as screamo) but it seams like its been translated into anything that is indie or has anything to do with the indie culture.

This is my take on 'emo' music
I'v also heard people say that it doesn't exist, that its just a word somebody made up and then everybody just started using it for anything they felt like.

I personally like a lot of indie rock...I'm not a big fan of the Blood Brothers music wise.
