Internet is sooo slow

Does anyone know how to speed up your internet connection? For the past year my connection has been great but for the last week, my laptop's internet has been extemely slow. What can I do?

Laying off the porn would help.


Try not to run programs that use up a lot of bandwidth, like WoW or something like that.

Same thing happened to me for a period of about 1-2 weeks. I have no idea what the cause was, but the internet on my laptop just wouldn't work at all, wireless or ethernet cable'd. It somehow fixed itself i guess...

OP try resetting your router. should do the trick. (dont hit the reset button, just unplug it, and your modem for a minute and plug it back in)

Reset your modem as suggested above, if that fails ring your ISP and see if there's a problem on there end and they'll probably reset it.
