I understand the concept behind spending more on glass, as that ensures better shot quality etc. I have spent a decent amount on some extra glass for my 7d, but dont really have a solid prime. Because of this and because of an exhausted budget, ive been looking into using older lenses/attachments that i can find around at camera shops/ebay/classifieds etc. I was wondering if anyone has had success shooting video, and more specifically action sports video, with older lenses, primarily those with wider angles.
for some reason i think Paul Braunstein has used older glass with success though I could be wrong.
