Seth morrison pro model 3 finger glove

was interested in these gloves and wondering what everyones thoughts were. are they really $165 gloves? or are they just decent with an expensive name on them. also i couldnt find anything about hestras warranty. do they have one? also any feelings about the 3 vs 5 finger?

No experience with the Seth pro model but I have Hestra Fall Lines. By far the best gloves I have ever owned. Look on Evo Outlet or Department of Goods. They always have some Hestra's for pretty cheap. I scored mine on Tramdock. You won't find the 3 fingers in the outlet since they're new this year, but all Hestra gloves are awesome and you can probably score a pair for much less than $165.

i fuckin love my seths, i skied them for one big season, (168 days/claim) and this is current condition of 60+ days hiking BC/Building jumps, around 40 days park and 60+ days resort skiing. also awesome for filming on cold ass days. soooooooo worth it, and not just because seth wears them.

also make sure to use the leather balm every 50 days or so and they will stay like 99% waterproof

Didn't want to make a new thread but I just got these for X-mas, can someone tell me the best way to apply the leather balm? Do I even need to apply it if they are straight out of the box?

So I know that the thread is almost a year old but I'm just wondering how warm 3 finger gloves are cause my fingers are always freezing in regular gloves so I vowed to get myself a pair of mitts for this season.  These however look pretty good..  How are they?

I wear my 3-Finger Seth's everyday all season long.  They are super warm, even on cold pow days.  I really like the 3-Finger because you get the warmth of a mitten, but keep dexterity with your index finger.  You can't go wrong with these!

there's some other hestra gloves that might be a bit warmer. the heli gloves/mitts/3 finger I would think.

Alright I'll probably have to go try on some stuff in a shop.   I found that mitts were incredibly comfy last year when I wore my friend's and to be honest they didn't feel restricting at all.  I'll have to find a place to try these badboys.

I ended up buying these and they were fantastic. Put 120 days on them and they still look great, and never let my fingers get cold. Definitely recommend them, although I haven't extensively used any other gloves in that price range.

I prefer the fall line. It is a more comfortable glove. The padding of the Seth makes it feel as it it were stiffer. Having said that - you genuinely cannot go wrong with either glove.

I have and love the hestra vertical cut freeride glove . Best glove ever owned . I bushwhack a lot in the trees so the padded knuckles are a bonus . If you want a more low profile glove the fall line doesn't have the padding that the Seth and the vertical cut freeride have .

Thanks all - ended up going with a Gordini 3 finger which seems to be a copy of the seths, with a bit less padding.
