hey, i'm 5.77 ft and 66kg . Thinking about new twintips - 1080's. Help choose from 161 and 171. going to ride pipe and some backcountry...

171 then, i had 171's when i was only 5'4 120lbs, and they're fine, you should be good with the 171

If he wants 1080s let him get them. maybe what works for him doesn't for you so shut the fuck up. just go 171, dont get 161 or youll end up wanting longer skis by the end of the year.

Hey thnxs, i'm going for salamon for only one reason now.. i need smth to begin with and i'm working with salomon and get gear for 45% discount (so '03-04 1080's r worth 120-130 $ for me =))
And where i can get some info bout newschoolers round the world and especially in the us. Maybe some kewl photos, articles(maybe some wear brands that some riders are stocked ?)...other sites??? Thnxs for your help

I'm 19 and i think stoped growing =)) Maybe i lost some weight after a surgery operation on my shoulder(broke it on 55foot table bigair at the end of march- snowboarding). Sure the color is no difference- i can paint or stick'em up =))
Thnxs for your asnwers, but maybe some of u can give some links for any useful info on newschooling such as popular skiwear or smth?

1080s arent as bad as everyone says, most of them probably havent even ridden them. i have, and havent had any problems.
