you're in the city and when you're crossing the street to get to the building across the street, im not gonna walk down to the end to cross at the light and walk back up again. fuck that dude. he was probably so self absorbed with himself thinking how ironic it is that he's biking the opposite direction and how cool he probably looks on his dumb ass bike. that dude is gonna get a car door opened on him one day.
bitch stfu if youve ever lived in a city youd know how ppl rode bikes there. His job is probably a legal carrier and his job is to move shit quick and this is the fastest way
Yah but the dude should have looked before walking out in the street...being aware of your surroundings isn't hard. But I guess I am weird since I look both ways even on one way streets.
how ironic that the hipster is so focused on being a ironic that even though he is a legal carrier he feels the need to ride illegally down a street...im guessing that douche bag looks something like this
i live in toronto. work downtown. it was a one way street. he only has to look to his right. you know, the flow of traffic. that the bicyclist wasn't obeying.
Like I said...I am weird and look both ways no matter what...it was the dude on the bikes fault but the business dude could of prevented it by just taking the extra second to look the other way.
thats the thing with bicyclists, they want all the rights of being treated like a vehicle on the road, but they don't want to abide by the laws of traffic that every vehicle on the road abide by. they want it both ways. to have the rights of vehicles and want to ride their bikes like they're pedestrians at the same time.
Legal carriers are still subject to follow traffic laws, asshat.
And most of the legal carriers I know, while they're cool, are all hipsters. With the whole "OMG I TOTALLY LOVED MGMT BEFORE THEY GOT BIG" etc. etc. etc.
Word haha its not like you can close your eyes once you see a light is green while driving. Being on a street requires constant attention. Both people could have prevented the crash. True, its probably the bikes fault, but that dude is a dumbass for not looking both ways didn't his momma ever tell him to? haha
but the point is, if that guy was injured and he filed a civil claim against that bicyclist, the biker would lose the case because he was biking down the wrong way. you think his defense lawyer is going to win his case by saying that they guy should have looked harder in case someone was doing something illegal by biking the wrong direction?
dude chill im not defending them, I hate legal carriers and pretty much anyone else from nyc. I was just saying how its not just the biker fault they were both wrong
