Its going to be insane this year. It is crazy to think about the level it was at last year, we were all loosing are freakin minds, now think of the shit you saw in this years ski movies. Wouldn't be surprised if Sammy, B Brown and Russ all throw trips, who knows who else has got one up their sleeve. The jump last year was pretty perfect, everyone was immensely stoked on it, it should be ridiculous to see what goes down this year. I think last year no one really knew how high the level was going to be, this year, people are a bit more aware that some completely fucked up tricks are going to go down.

on the other hand, it could have just been a spur of the moment thing that so many things went down last year. who knows if TJ really knew if he was going to do the 16 or if he was just hucking a dub cork harder to see what happened. it would blow if the same vibe doesn't happen this year and not as many people are stoked to throw down. the jump, weather,format, and competators could all be a factor for whats going to happen or not happen. if everyone starts throwing triples i have a feeling theres going to be way too many 50/50 scores given haha

They play a game of chess. It's like a mental thing. You know; if they both have a score of 100 that proves they're both equally gifted athletically wise. Now they have to show they got the brains too...

J/k, but seriously: I don't think anyone knows because I'm pretty sure a scenario like that didn't happen yet?

Agreed, getting invited into Big Air is pretty tough, but I could definitely see Gus doing well if he were to get in. I know Gus wants a triple bad; I have a feeling he'll put down that right 12 in the near future as well.

Just wait for right side trips...haha shits gonna get nutty in the next few years.

Russ is sooo baller. I just got "The Way I See It" off iTunes and saw his triple attempt. holy fuck. and his other stomps were like he never left the ground.

not to take anything away from sammy, bobby, tom, andreas, tj, jossi(hurt), lj or gus. damn there are so many at the top level.

I agree, right side doubles will become standard. and then who knows.

I've always been confused on this topic. If you get a perfect trick (50), why don't they just do it again for another 50? I mean, in theory, you should still be able to do a switch misty 14 next year and get a 50, assuming they use the same criteria.

I dont know man the thing is with all this hype i could see it all kinda blowing up in our faces. Like for those who have seen the way i see it when the crazy shit goes down no one is ever really expecting it. Just like x games last year i would never imagined a dub cork 16 going down that was too sick. I can just the jump not quite being up to par or big enough and the standard just stay the same. Im not hating i hope to god shit goes down the hype train just worries me!

but he doesn't have tons of footage of himself trough the whole season. the only footage from him this year was from competitions, joss, 3 shots in revolver and some minor edits where he doesnt really push it so hard. i could wish i saw much more of him.

but yeah, if someone did a switch double sideflip they should get good score, because it sounds hard as fuck. i hope they build the jump ala SCI
