i ended up going with most of my class, only jumped like 2 times when the cupboards swung open and some other 'shock value' bit. Aside from most of the girls screaming in all the scary parts, i rather enjoyed the movie, and they did a fair good job at liking the two together, and like now it all makes sense. Go see it if you have seen the first.

i liked the story and how well (for the most part) they connected the two movies. but an invisible demon isn't scary at all.

I sort of agree. I liked in the first movie how they got they did the talcum powder/footprint thing. Something along those lines would have added a bit to the movie.
