I am thinking of buying a pair of second hand skis but would probably have to remount the bindings further forward how bad is it to get this done? Is this not advisable or should it be okay? Thanks.

it depends on how many mounts the ski has had, i wouldn't drill a ski more than 3 times max.

i agree, i wouldnt mount more than 3 times, and also it will depend where on the ski you are mounting them in comparison to the previous mounts, and it depends on where the holes because of the types of bindings, you can coil the holes if needed

for most skis you can go up to 3 mounts, after that they structural stability of the ski becomes compromised

Does anyone know how far apart remounts must be or does it all depend on the binding? One more question, does anyone know if the marker drilling template is the same for the squire and griffon?
All times are Eastern (-5)
