sorry, he was wearing a helmet, it was a neck injury that caused his death.

I used to wear a helmet not just at parks but everywhere. From when I was little till I was like 14 or 15. Then I stopped pretty much. Still a good thing to throw on your dome if you're trying something big.


That sucks though. Always sucks when somebody goes before their time. RIP

when i used to skate my helmet probably saved my life at least once and definitely a lot of head injuries

Of all the bmx riders I know I am the only one who always wears a helmet and I've seen quite a few people get knocked at the skatepark. I don't understand why people don't wear them.

You gotta wear helmets for street sports. I never rock a helmet skiing but I won't do any serious skating without one.

This is stupid, you probably go way faster skiing and theres trees, rocks and boxes/rails and snow and landings can be very hard or icy at times.

RIP, i can say with 100% certainty that my helmet saved my life once so knowing that it was a neck imjury that kiled him is even scarrier, that kid realy slayed too

Yeah exactly. This comment makes so much sense. You're telling people they need to wear a helmet riding a bike, but skiing you don't? Are you high on the drugs? I actually wear a helmet snowboarding all the time now because my dome is fucked. I don't really ride or skate anything other than my mini anymore so I don't wear one.

I've broken helmets snowboarding before. I mean technically it doesn't take much to kill you. You could hit a crack in the pavement fall, hit your head and die. But on the mountain you can fall head first from 20 feet on ice any day, hit your head of a rail, run off the trail and hit a tree. I think it's a good idea to wear a helmet in both. The idea that you need to wear one biking but not skiing is just retarded. Ice coast kills shit

yea i always wear a helmet skiing. I should wear one skating but i don't. If im doing anything more then just being mellow on my BMX then ill toss on my lid too

I wear my helmet for skiing all the time, full face for DH, and for wakeboarding if im going to be trying tricks ie faster speed I strap on one not so much for hitting the water but more because I got it in the head with my board once

this dude also got fucked cause his bars snapped (primo tall boy's in case you are wondering) so make sure you check your bars/stem/frame before you go riding because they could have already been cracked.
