Really who cares that Vail knows how many times I ride each lift? It's not like they know where you are at all times, just when you get on the lift. I think it's kind of cool, see how much vert I can rack up in a day. Everybody publishes half their life on facebook and they can't handle this?

Didn't make opening day at Breck today, but noticed some new fences at Keystone- the idea is for you to enter each run where they have an RF reader to track which runs you are skiing...its not working yet, but the Epic Mix is suppose to allow you to sign in and see where and how much you skied each day...They say they will also have a mobile ap that will allow you to see where your friends are on the mountain.
All times are Eastern (-5)
