he guys, i need good edit software for my mac book , not anything to pro or something just good edititing , at least better than imovie, any suggestions?
Final Cut Pro is probably your best bet for a mac. But it can get pretty complicated so I would suggest watching tutorials on Youtube or something to get you started.
definetly final cut, it's a great program. i wouldn't be too worried about it being too complicated, after the first couple uses you pretty much get the hang of it
yeah final cut realllyyy isnt that hard to use. greatest invention and thing u will want to know is the blade tool...cuts a clip right at the play head. press "b" on your keyboard to turn it on. and "a" to go back to normal arrow. if you master the switching between that your edits will be so much faster to make
another thing you'll wanna know is how to ripple delete, what it does is when you delete a clip or part of a clip out of the middle of the timeline, it automatically fills the space in between, instead of you having to drag the clips together manually.
Final Cut Hands down, the program itself will take a couple good hours of getting used to, and probably a couple tutorials, but from there the possibilities are basically endless.
and in the top right of your timeline is 2 buttons. One is a chain that toggles audio attached to the video or not. And the other is a snap to one. Snap to is awesome for regular editing but when u need to fine tune clips by cutting off a tiny bit make sure it's off!
