in your guys opinion what is the best snowmobile for deep pow and what is the best long track and how much does it usually cost?

for the best your looking at $12000... something turbo and lots of power and little weight.

Anyway a lot depends on your budget. You can spend as little as $2,500 to $30,000 on a mtn sled. If money is tight I would try find a clean Ski Doo Rev Summit chassis with at least a 144 inch track. Polaris RMK's are good but the newer the better & stay far away from the 900cc model, junk. Arctic Cat has come long way in dependability but still seem to have ways to go. The M series sleds are very light but not as bullet proof as say a Rev.

If it was my money I would get a used 2008 Polaris RMK 600 with 144 track. Good power, easy to maneuver in tight spots & can jump it.

the best thing is to look for a used one at the end of ski season, when someone will be looking for quick cash for his/her summer hobby ... hahaha

I seriously doubt you will get good info here. But sleds are like skis people will swear by what they ride. I have been riding a ski doo for my whole life and i love them have no problems. A new sled will run you 12 grand if you want to turbo it add a minimum of 3 grand to the original price (depends on the kit). Arctic cat, ski doo, polaris, yamaha, have all been making sleds for a long time and all make good products, especially if you want to put the money into them. There is no "best sled".

If you want a reliable sled get a four stroke.  But if you want a light sled, get an M8 or a Rev or XP if you have the money.
