Subaru sound system

I just got a 2011 impreza hatch and i love it...with the exception of the shitty sound system. It is HORRIBLE. I ordered the upgraded sub with the car but they do not offer upgraded speakers. I have had the car for about a week and all i can stand to listen to is talk radio.The new sub is not installed yet because the dealer couldn't get one for a month or so. Im wondering if anybody has any experience with subaru factory upgrade woofers. If they are shitty I might just tell them to forget and go find something elsewhere.

i dont know anything about this. but id say just get your own sound sytme put in. dont go thorugh subaru

Subaru has def stepped it down since 2008,

Per 2008 foresters had foglights and steel wheels standard on all models.  Noy only the premium models have foglights, and the base model has shitty hubcaps.

My 2003 has the factory upgraded sound system and it sounds great.  Don't get me wrong, its far from the best, but I can safely say that I can enjoy my music in a high quality.  My moms 2009 forester is absolutely horrible in the sound system department, and even though it is a higher-end odel, there are some chincy feeling parts on it.

You def don't get what you used to get when you buy from subaru.

Once I have the money, the car I want to look at is an 06-08 Forester XT
