I'm starting to get into parkour/freerunning and my old New Balance 894's
are starting to get worn out from my aggressive training. The only reason I'm posting this here is because the site's forum for my local parkour/freerunning group is less than active. So here is what I'm trying to choose between:
Nike Freerun+
Pros: amazing flexibility, very light weight
Cons: They're $124 at my local store, unsure on how long the soles will last against the stuff I'll be doing.
5-10 Freerun
Pros: Almost unparalleled grip and durability, Much more inexpensive ($90)
Cons: Not sold locally anywhere in my city.
Vibram FiveFingers KSO
Pros: With my toes free, my balance would increase tenfold, super light weight, can stimulate and strengthen muscles that are otherwise not used in regular shoes.
Cons: Essentially a foot glove, no cushioning, would look kind of weird walking around in them. (price: $80)
So there you have it. I really need some opinions here, any and all are appreciated.
