PSP Modding?

I have a PSP I havent used in a while because my games have broken. I was wondering if its worth modding. If you have modded a PSP I would appreciate input. I am wondering:
-Is it hard to do?
-Is it worth doing?
-How much will it cost?
-What are some of the things I can do with a modded PSP?
Any input or advice is appreciated. K+ for info.

buy my psp so if you brick yours..you have another! and mine works in perfect condition with 9 games!
