What do you use?

Pretty much all commercial ski wax is scented they just don't market it as being scented.

either Swix CH or Toko S3 for every day.

for race day Swix CH as a base then Swix LF then Swix HF and Toko Jetstream at the start gate.

and none of those are scented.

He is just being a smartass. Saying that all waxes have some sort of smell, some intentional some not.

I accidentaly bought some of this last year. It dosn't smell like bacon, more like what I would imagine burnt asshole hair with dingleberries in it would smell like. I ended up using it for hotscrapes on my girlfriends snowboard to use it up as fast as possible.
