go 2 or 6. the mtn and the parks are less crowded meaning more time to lap less time standing in line. theres always "pros" cycling in and out through out the summer but that shouldnt be your main concern when trying to go to a ski camp in the summer.
its definitely worth it. if you take advantage of everything there is to offer you will not regret it one bit. by that i mean ski as much as you can, take the last bus down everyday and do as much as you can off hill. but if you just sit around in the snow watching people all day and go back to camp at 2 then sit at the trampoline watching people jump all night then it might be a waste.
In terms of pro appearences: Each session has a them (i.e. session 6 was Line Traveling Circus week and session 4 was Armada week) So each session has a totally different group of pros each time.
Overall, every session is good quality fun because you're skiing in the summer!
MHSSC. Mt Hood Summer Ski Camp. about half the price of windells for 5 days on snow. super chill place. no pro coaching but people come here to learn not watch
before i get flamed.... two weeks at MHSSC is about 11 days if you dont do laundry, but you can fit in twelve if you come a day early (around 100 bucks)
mhssc is legit
tramp is amazing
pros still come by, when i was there some of the guys who were at windells that week came and chilled. sprigga, downey, hornbeck and andy parry
and you won't get snowballs thrown at you or called out for wearing jiberish or air raids
that last one is kind of a joke, not saying it didn't happen, but mhssc is awesome, u won't regret it
your wrong, it is true that MHSSC doesn't have a rope tow, but more days on snow is always better
plus you can just do superlaps of MHSSC park to pubby.
personally when i was seshing a rail, it didn't take very long to hike back up, plus it makes you think of what you wanna do(and burns those calories so you can get with las chicas)
ya hiking is no problem, we all either hike or lap anyways, its not like it takes any longer, and you would hike in windells if you just wanna work on one thing
MHSSC doesn't have cocksucker whore bags that their only goal is to be better than everyone else. You have fun at MHSSC and it is so laid back. Do it pussy
all of you stop posting. now.
i work/worked for the camp and i can say that as staff we try to do everything to make sure campers have a good time. kitchen staff makes good food and counselors are super chill and attentive to camper needs. we sleep in the same rooms and eat the same food and ride the same buses. we are your homies, not your babysitters
90% of posts in this thread are irrelevant to the OP.
jahjahbinks posted a link to a thread titled "MHSSC vs. Windells". If you would like to share your opinion about why MHSSC is better than windells, post there and GTFO.
Sure MHSSC has some pro's that outweigh windells alot, but remember, you're still irrelevant.
but the point about pros, the whole point was to show that the pros worked at windells, but seshed mhssc on their off days. i do think that that was way too much MHSSC spam for this thread, but i guess that people who go there are just that much more vocal.
that is completely relevant you tool, he wants info on a summer ski camp, jahjah posts a link to windells vs mhssc. A thread with all the info he needs to know on windells. so simmer down na
ya this.
I always got the last bus down. One day they thought me and this other kid had dissapeared and were freaking out but really we were skiing until they kicked us out. It is one of the best things ever if you take advantage of it
