canon gl1 vs gl2

if i were to buy a gl off of ebay, would it be worth it to spend the extra money on a gl2 where i could get a gl1 for much cheaper, what are the differences?

i did, but really the only thing i could see was that the stilll iamge on the gl1 is lower btu does ne one here have the gl1?
