Cotton usually is not a great choice but I would say the Hanes.

im not using these for skiing, just casual wear, hence the cotton. and spank you very much

Ahh alright I thought by winter you meant skiing but yes the Hanes will be thicker.

I usually pick up my plain t's at costco. 4 pack for 12 bucks (canada) and they are pretty good quality.
