The Cult Games

I have a dream, that one day little boys and girls can play together in a competition on this very website. This competition would come to be known as the cult games.

The grandmaster will work with the members of the cult to nominate a few members to represent them.

These representatives will battle it out agaianst other cult's representatives in the name of their cult.

The games to be played are still in question. Possibly trivia, chess, online freestyle, debate, or any other games that can be played online.

A bonus round will feature the cult's grandmasters duking it out.

Who's cult will survive?
Find out in the cult games.

members of numerous cults are going to have to decide which cult they want to join up with.

Before the games, cult members can discuss strategies amongst themselves to win.

As for a trivia game, we could play one available on some other website or an appointed official could start a thread on it and contestants would have to respond within 15 seconds or so. (REFRESH BUTTON)

trivia would be awsome, i bet other cults would have a chance of winning. We coudl have alot of sick games. It could be a whole competition where people win points for their cult and then whichover cult has the most points at the end gets a prize or soemthing

I dunno, this would pretty much be a rout. DL has everybody who could compete at any online games that I can think of, except, say, counterstrike. How many good chess players are on this site?

Sickwidit, that's a great idea.
Also, 2 new competition ideas:

1. Scavenger hunt: Each cult is presented with a list of random items or item descriptions (for example: something that is inflatable and yellow)
Members from the cult can take pictures/video or use any means to verify that they have found it.
First cult to present all the items wins.

2. Video: maybe create a funny video clip or something random.

SRMC was one of the origanal, and by far longest lasting cults. Follwing in the wake of the NSU and a few smaller, short lived cults hiding in secret foumes. the SRMC moved to GH.com for a long time, and can still be fonud there.

It hasn't been mentioned, and despite my strong belief that men are completely better than women-- I think I would have to represent 1.1 for the ladies. Because the beliefs I stated above don't apply to the girls in 1.1 we are a special breed. If not 1.1, 420 I guess. Those are the two cults I spend the most time in, I'm not in DL but I have been considering answering one of those questions (I'm super lazy/procrastinator)

4d, that also could be done. However, I liked the idea of cult vs cult games. There are numerous cults on here. Everyone seems to have their posse. This'll give them a chance to represent their posse and work together to try and win.

It'd be fun because each group is unique and would do things differently.

Also, something like this could revive alot of the cults and make them active again.

Just an idea, and when I get some more time I'll see if I can put this all together.

What about GD starts a cult for the Games HQ? Only rules are that only the representatives from each cult can post the submissions? However allow everyone else in the cults to view? Itd be hard to moderate though.

Or ask Harvey REAALLY nicely if he'll code a special cult which will allow everyone to view but only certain members to post, i.e the representatives from each cult?

or if you wanted to get realyl into it you could create a cult for the games and each cult could have its own section where only members of that cult coudl post, but everyone coudl view all these sections. Then there would be a couple people who would master everyone and would decided when a cult has won
