I'm guessing it's the same at your school but the reason i love homecoming is because it's the one day that it doesn't matter who you are. There are some fine ass girls that I only talk to a little bit but at homecoming i could be all up on them and nobody cares. Everyone just jukes with everyone. The week after homecoming you coulda got it on with some girl and then not even talk to them. Its raw

i remember a little 9th grade white girl get escorted out by police when she was caught sucking off a giant black guy on the dfloor at one of my old highschool dances. shit was off the hook. how do you explain that one to your parents, at age 14? 15? i mean, some rubbing and touching action always went down, and there were always stories about teachers breaking up people getting a little too touchy/feely, but a dfloor bj? girl was out her fuckin mind..

"What you can do:

Relieve the teachers of this burden and put the dances in the hands of another institution, which can guarantee the standards. *1

Ask students and their parents to sign an agreement of appropriate behavior. *2

Insist there be a significant and specific number of parent chaperones in order to hold any dance--leave the responsibility with the students to secure them.

Train chaperones and give them a clear protocol. Support them.*3

Ask parents to be available and leave a cell phone number where they can be reached if their child is asked to leave the dance. Have chaperones specifically designated to make these calls and to sit with young people who are waiting for their parents.

Earn the privilege of coming to the dances. If you’ve been kicked out of one, maybe you miss the next one. And yes, of course you forfeit your ticket price.

If the problem is too widespread to attack piecemeal, stop the dance and take a 10-minute “time-out” every time there is a problem. *4

Turn on the lights.*5

In general, keep the dances small and by grade-level.*6



On the positive side

Teach dancing in P.E. or at the dances. Anyone can wag their tail. Give them the skills to be more impressive. *7

Break up the dance with entertaining activity-based “time outs” such as games, demos, and dance or karaoke contests.*8"


Points against what this stupid bitch is saying
1) It's a school Function, the teachers don't have to help out with it if they don't want to. What do you want them to do it with, the Mormon church?

2) Parents are not going to the dance, it shouldn't be in their responsibilities. Of you don't like what goes on there then by all means don't send your kids there.

3) Train them what? How to stop someone from griding, it's a school dance.

4) 10 minute times-outs? what are we 6 years old again?

5) Having the lights on kills the mood and the fun.

6)By Grade level? What happens if a Junior is dating a senior and they want to go to the dance together? Ya that doesn't work.

7) Not everybody opinion of dancing is the correct one. You should teach kids the specific way to dance at their own school dance

8) Again we are not 6 years old. We can keep ourselves entertained like it has been done for generations.

at mine during my senior year some girl left crying because she didnt like everyone "grinding"..for some reason i was singled out. her mom then showed up and stood in the corner starring at our group of people. that totally stopped us...

turned into some big ordeal that i could give two shits about, cant wait til i get out of bs highschool

That is so effing hilarious. My mom has moments like that though and it pisses the hell out of me. My first homecoming I grinded everyone and felt up somone while my date was in the bathroom. and the hilarious part I don;t know who it was. We have got it narrowed down to 3 girls. If my mom knew that shit she would like lock me in a closet with a bible and a loaf of whole grain bread for a week.

our homecoming is a huge cluster fuck....
the senior class goes for the 4-3-2-1, which, for those who dont know, means that you hook up with 4 seniors, 3 juniors, 2 sophomores, and 1 freshman. now thats 10 people. lots of people hook up with more, and those younger kids end up hooking up with more. its a chain reaction. its almost gross to think about hooking up with a girl after she has hooked up with 10 other guys
