FKS 120

so i got some fks 120's with the 90mm break (they have not been bent) and i was wondering if i could buy another break for them. Or if it would be possible to bend them. They would need to fit my chopsticks (128mm underfoot)

Yes you can bend them to fit chopsticks. But theirs wont be much brake left.

Their is a tutorial in the binding maintains thread on bending fks brakes.

No rossi wont sell them. You can only buy the normal brake at 75mm.

There won't be a lot of brake, but it works fine. Search on TGR for the best info about taking the bindings apart, bending, and putting them back together. There is a big thread over there. Just make sure to bend slowly, and don't do it in a very cold room. There is nothing worse that doing all the work, then snapping the arm off the brake. Then you are fucked because FKS brakes are like leprechauns.

i am happy to bend them for you. i made the video posted above and i've bent a bunch of pairs of fks brakes. obviously i cannot guarantee that they will not get broken but the people who i've bent for will testify that i do a good job

They dont sell them. You may be able to get your shop to order a pair for you straight through rossignol

the max rossi makes are like 121, they would still need a tweak for 128. because 128 is the narrowest part of the ski it means where the brake is gonna cross the ski will be more like 131 due to the sidecut

through rossi directly, but you will still have to bend the brakes

i've bent stock brakes to 130 before and there's plenty of brake to stop a ski, it's not like a tiny little stub sticking out. you'll be fine. bending is not easy nor is taking apart the heel
