East Coast Mountains

Ok, So Im going away for a few days in March Break and I want to know what how good the park/skiing is also which hills I missed. I live around toronto so anything more than 8-9 hours away is too far. The Ones im looking at so far are Jaypeak, Smuggles, Stowe, Bromont, Orford, St Anne, Stoneham, and Holliday Valley. Jay is good for pow, but not really for park. Sugarbush is another good mountain that usually has a decent park and good skiing. If you're not looking for park at all then you could also check out Mad River Glen. Also, Mount Snow has a great park.

haven't even heard of some of those, but i've been to holiday valley a few times last year and its got a pretty good park for the area. if you can make the drive to vermont thats really where its at on the east coast. anywhere in vt > ny. i've been to killington a few times and will be up at stowe sometime this year visiting friends at uvm and i've heard its pretty good. jays got the most powder and mt snow has a sick park. i can't even remember what you were asking anymore. i'll post this and look again.

idk how far this is from toronto but sunday river in maine has a sick park... stowe is good too

also to note, killington is holding this years east coast dew tour stop. you could look up the dates if you are interested, i don't think its when you are going, but if they should have the slopestyle park up

if you want to havea ood snowpark time, go at bromont! shit's is insane ! need a helmet and pay 10$ for a day parkpass tho

I've been to smugglers, stowe, holiday valley, mt st anne and sugar bush this is what i thought of each... There all good choices depends what your looking for I haven't been to Jay Peak but it is next on my list to hit up.
smugglers
- awesome skiing if there is lots of natural snow (march break can be a hit or miss)
-decent park
-great tree skiing
-the lifts are old 2 person chairlifts so they are slow but there is hardly ever any lines
-overall very fun place to go lots steep stuff but these runs need natural snow to be open
Stowe
- pretty awesome park some big jumps
- usually as more snow then smugglers because mt Mansfield faces away from afternoon sun
- more snow making then smuggs
- good tree skiing but not as good as smugglers
- high speed chairlifts
Holiday Valley
- a lot less vertical then your other choices I think around 750 feet compared to over 2000 feet
- still fun place its close to Toronto 
- from what i have herd the park is pretty good later on in the season i usually go here around christmas when the park isn't really built yet
-practically no tree skiing but the mountain is almost entirely covered by snowmaking
- night skiing
Mont St Anne
- usually colder then Vermont so the natural snow lasts longer
- park as sick rails but there are no jumps because its an RCR resort
- ok tree skiing
- night skiing
Sugar Bush
- i wasn't that old when i went to sugarbush so i dont know that much about the park I seen videos of it and I think it looks pretty sweet
- lots of tree skiing tho if there is natural snow
-some pretty fun steep skiing
-would definitely be a good choice aswell

killington

pros: park is pretty good-decent. GLADES are awesome especially centerpiece, devils den, growler, julio/anarchy. Lines are usually pretty short on Bear MTN around March. oh and if theres good snow hit up catwalk on Killington Peak. Lastly devils fiddle and Outer Limits are awesome moguls trails. Devils fiddle has a pretty decent sized cliff too.

cons: cant really think of any cons because it is a sick place to ski other than some ski patrols that are mad gay but what other mountain doesnt have those

Orford is alrite, They have a deep snow base for a long time and the park is decent.

Jay peak isnt known for park but the snow is better than anywhere on the east. Other than that Stowe is great they have a good park, usually some good snow, and good terrain. The downside is that it is pretty expensive but if you can get past the cost its a good place

i would go to stowe, ive been to holiday valley in march and there isnt that much open but the park is okay but its not great

i ski holiday valley 2-3 a week. the park gets good late in the season. lots of rails all season long though. they have like 4 rail parks. the jumps are what takes a while to get going.

there is tree skiing, you just have to know where to go. and watch out for the safety patrol/cops. they are like nazis about keeping people out of the trees.

Come to Tremblant we have an awesome village that has some great atmostphere and partying.
The park is always in amazing condition and you get a pretty nice jump like of 3-4 jumps ranging for 35ft-60ft and a lot of different jibs to choose from. There is also another park on the otherside of the mountain that has smaller jumps and smaller rails/boxes.
I think it is a 6-8 hour drive here depending where you are in Toronto and the traffic.
Even though it is an intrawest resort it is never busy other then the gondala at 10:00-12:00 has a 10 minute wait. The rest of the mountian is pretty much ski up to the lifts. Also we got a whole face of the mountain that is dedicated to tree skiing also there are other gladed runs on the mountain. If you come here shoot me a pm and I can show you some local tree skiing.

Come to 7springs, we have some of the best parks in the east cost!

last year out big park had a 3 line of a 35 45 and 70

and we have four parks

springs is the shit!

if you want park, don't go to smuggs. it's ok, but the park is not worth going on a trip to. if you want trees it's sick, but only if you know all of the unofficial trails. go to stowe or somewhere else for park.

Dude fuckin hundo year old skicop chased my down cindys cuz i was skiing switch . Holiday is nice but eville should be in a diff part of the country. Holiday is nice but expensive though i weny thirty plus times last season and paid mayb twice. I love their jib selection so easy to learn cuz there is a range of different levels. Movin to tahoe in jan. Gonna be a huge step up. Gotts love eville though. We ragged it there so much. Place is filled with rich cougers.
