i think the name is tight, but even if you don't one things for sure, this duo is rad. download a few songs and check out their review on www.pitchformedia.com . start with 'seventeen years'

the only girl i've ever loved was born with roses in her eyes. but then they buried her alive one evening in 1945 with just her sister at her side and only weeks before the guns all came and rained on everyone. now she's a little boy in spain playing pianos filled with flames on empty rings around the sun.

well i dont get the ratatat and frans ferdinand comparison, but both bands seem pretty good. ratatat dont sing at all though i dont think

^no their not similar in the slightest, but it is conceiveable that someone who likes franz might like ratatat.

Wow, wish I could go, but on 420, that'll be a dope show, no pun intended.  Ratatat's album Classics is so good.  I get an amazing emotional response when I hear it that few artists can really provide.  If you don't have it, get it.
