Tonight TSP and Level 1 came to Spokane and really gave us a show. The riding was incredible. Really inspiring. And with a raffle made it even more legit. I bought a decent amount of raffle tickets hoping to win something but also stoked to be donating to TSP. As you who were there, there was a ski that when won could get you a free pair of salomon threats. Well as lucky may behold i was called up to do a chugging contest(Monster) via raffle. But due to me recovering from strep throat i could hardly talk. So i generously offered my bro Bobby Olson( skierx) to take my place. He ended up winning it and was stoked on life to say the least. After the show to my surprise he got on stage, took the mic and gave them to me on stage. I gotta give mad mad props to Bobby O for that. To give away skis is almost like giving an arm or a leg away for him. So mass vibes for him.
But shortly after the show his mom came up to Bobby and was furious that he did that. So i calmly gave him the skis back in courtesy and to not have her flip out on me. And after all he did win the contest. But the sad thing is that was my only way to get new skis. i broke my old pair resulting in an overnight hospital stay. so im s.o.l as of ski season...
