I know I am stupid for even thinking about what to do, sure some of you that have never really loved someone may also give me some shit.

Story is as follows.

I have been with this girl for a year but have known her for like six. So she is in Berlin vising her family she has there along with her parents. She went out one night then called me at like 6AM Berlin time. She was all lovey and whatever. I was like OK. So now fast forward to today, four weeks later. We got into a fight about her going clubbing tonight (it's her moms bday tomorrow and I thought it was not good to be hungover) and she admitted to fucking someone that night she got home at 6AM. She is begging me to not leave her and says it was a stupid drunken mistake. She knew it was wrong and was so drunk she did not really know what was going on. Yada Yada....

So WTF, I love this chick, I live with her and her parents love me too. They are also VERY upset with her for doing it. So do I take her back? Tell her to fuck off? Take her back with conditions? I am so lost and upset at the moment. WTF...

get rid of her, she will know that if you take her back now that there is a very good chance in the future that she will do it again. I have been wasted many times since my GF went back to school across the country and i wouldn't even think of going for another chick. It sounds to me that she is just in a relationship for the sake of being in a relationship rather than actually having long lasting feeling. She sees you as a stepping stone onto her next boyfriend and knows that the relationship won't last. She is currently happy but is constantly looking for better perspectives that are willing to have her, and you deserve better than that. Ditch the bitch... It will def hurt for awhile but in the long run it will be the right choice.

Damn bro that is a huge bummer, sorry to hear about it. I'm going to have to agree with everyone in this thread so far and say get out of it. It'll suck for a while but you'll be better off.

but seriously, if she is willing to put more effort into the relationship to prevent these things, take her back. If you feel its all talk, dump her. Its important to weigh the arguments. She got laid, often guys find it extremely insulting and dump the gf. But there is much more revolving around your relationship than just her, you must take that into consideration.

If that happened to me, I would dump her. personally speaking.

if you really love her and want to make it work, you can take her back with conditions.. if she really loves you she won't have a problem following these conditions until she gains your trust back. she will respect your wishes if she truly regrets cheating and won't question them if she really wants it to work with you.

if you take her back w/ conditions and she questions them or doesn't follow through, then ditch her... she is just testing you to see how far she can go and still keep you around. ditch her the FIRST time she breaks an agreement. not worth it.. it might be harder to cope with if she isn't right for you if you take her back.. but if you love her i guess you have to give it a chance.

i don't think he is relying on us to make the decision for him... but when other people outside of the relationship give advice it let's him see the situation from a different perspective.

Yeah, I have personally been cheated on and it blows. I've never been the cheater, ever. But it doesn't happen on accident. Girls and boys alike, but in recent days casual sex has become a downfall of our society. A huge bummer. I have no hope for my future and figure I'm going to be single my whole life because I'm a one man kinda girl

nah, cheating in my books is pretty much a big no. unless you're married you don't have to really go back to anyone. having sex with another person is a whole other level for me. take a break and if you still want her then fine, talk about working things out, but you're young and plenty of other girls will come your way.

yeah that's true. but i'm saying if he really loves her and can't see himself w/o her and he wants to give it a second try then let him give it a second try.. relationships have the potential to work themselves out....... or fail miserably. plus we don't know the entire relationship story.

it's up to him, but i did warn him that if she fucks up again it's only going to hurt worse than cutting her loose now. i forgot to add that it may make him look stupid. but people do crazy things when they love someone.
