Aussie and Kiwi accents are very different! Kiwis change their vowels a funny way! Ask Tim to say wikked though- he does it best! I love Candian, Scottish and Irish accents.

I feel lost and confused. I did a lot of talking to hot sounding guys tonight. They were Austrailian or from New Zeland, but they did sound hot. I had a lot of fun prank calling them and being like 'Hi, is Joe there?' and they're all 'Sorry, wrong number.' and I'm saying 'This is definitly Joe's number. I would never mis-dial. i have an aussie accent and i would just like to enlighten you in the subtle nuances of that most noble of accents, the Australian accent (yeah right!!). first of all, if it is a particularly thick accent like is pronounced loik. next, yeah is pronounced yih and is very shortened. one phrase that very well illustrates the sophisticated vowels and lovely consonants of the australian accent is this one, frequently heard games of australian football 'Git off 'im ya fucken mongrel!! ah you fucken blind umpy?!? ya fucken white maggot!!!' by the way, when used in this context the phrase 'white maggot' does not refer to the umpires skin tone but the colour of his uniform. i hope i have succeeded in opening your eyes to the wonderful sound of australian.

P.S. Canadian and US accents are different?

One of my friends was born in South Africa, then lived in Scotland for a while, and now he lives in Australia. That guy has the sweetest mix of accents!! lol
