go support another company whos not a gimic and cares about their buyers.

It's 20k waterproof, so it should keep you dry even on wet days.

I quote the FD site: super thick PU coated, 20k waterproof fabric w/ fully seam sealed/ taped seams.

the coats last year sucked, but as a company i thought they were pretty legit. They got us a deal, the freestlye ski club at my school all ordered tall sweatshirts and they silkscreened them for us for free

everything we sell comes with a 90 day guarantee against any manufacturing defects. this covers anything that has obviously failed from something done wrong in the factory like improper stitching, missing magnets, faulty seams, etc. this doesn’t cover abuse like walking on your pant legs, punctures from poles or rails, slices from edges, etc. you get the idea.

With smuggs on this one. 90 days= 1/4 a year in my book, not a whole year.

^^ We put 90 days on there since that would generally cover a normal season, but we would be happy to warranty anything throughout the year as long as it's a manufacturing defect. We also are happy to have gear professionally repaired at any time. It's super cheap and we even split the cost with you, even if it's something your fault like skiing through a branch, smashing a zipper on a rail, etc.

Personally, i think people need to chill on this FD hate. I'll be honest, ive never owned a product of theirs, but a spend a shit load of time on this forum to post a reasonable statement that (hopefully) is correct. If not, by all means correct me if im wrong, but dont freak out on me

Last year, everyone new that first drops outerwear was 8k, so obviously the waterproofing was going to not do so well. It was also its first year as a company so theres a gamble on quality right there..but first drop couldve avoided that by testing their product for a while before releasing it and working out the flaws, i get that. Also, it seems like FD does a great job with taking things back that are their mistakes. I forget the exact instances, but i remember multiple time people were complaining with the quality of one of FD's products and they came on here immediately to ship it back and they'd ship them a new one free of charge, which is great to see a new company do to try to fix their mistakes that shouldn't have happened in the first place

so to me, yeah, FD definitely made some mistakes, but they did/ are doing their very best to try to fix them and try to get started off on the right foot.

also, they seemed like they really stepped their stuff up for this upcoming year (yeah, a year too late to win over some people as fans of their products, but better late than never). who knows, maybe it may not turn out as well as people are thinking, or maybe it will exceed expectations. Only time will tell, but anyone who cant see that FD is doing their best to step up their game to another level is an idiot.

the customer service was top notch aswell, from my experiance that is.

then you guys gotta say that in your warranty, making claims of covering you for a WHOLE YEAR vs WHOLE SEASON vs 90 days written warranty is a huge gap. Its pretty dope that the company is offering to split repairs too, just be more honest with yo customers.

i hope the new shit is sick, and the people who rock it are stoked as hell. the team is coming along nicely, lj is one of the hottest skiers right now. dont blind people (kids) with smoke and mirrors, offer honesty.
