Ha fuck all you guys. Most of you aren't even old enough drive a car, let alone join the military. While im traveling the world experiencing life, you will all still be here, trying to troll on people who just accomplished something major in there life. I believe thats called jealousy :)

Can't you figure it out? No one on here really cares that you were "accepted" in to the marines. I don't have any problems with the USMC, I know a marine and he was a kick ass dude, that being said I don't think NS is the place to brag about it. Talk about it to your friends and family (the people who will be worrying about you when your overseas) NS doesn't care that much.

well congrats, and good luck. people aren't showing love or praise because you got accepted into the most very basic aspect of the military. Every single person in the marines is an infantryman. Even if you end up flying f-18s off an aircraft carrier, you are still trained as an infantryman first and foremost. That's the point of the marines. Everything else was added on later. The marines and the army are supposed to be the guys on the ground (or in the case of marines, land/sea) with the guns.

Don't you think it's a little soon for that? you haven't done shit for the marines yet. I mean I have a shitload of respect for the armed forces but you haven't done anything besides be selected... which rightfully probably isn't the easiest thing either but it's not for everyone anyways. There just gonna rip you a new asshole with that mentality :) enjoy.

I'll give you advice before another officer does:  don't act like a douche.

And get real man, what you are doing is something to be proud of if that's your dream, but literally anyone who can walk can sign up to go to Paris Island.  Don't put people down and brag about it, be a humble example that makes the rest of us proud.

ha i was never coming at anybody. and im the one acting like a douche. i made this thread cause i was pretty excited and i expected it to die pretty fast..then i get shit on by gnarton and then prophet tells me that he hopes im gonna die. so thats where im at. i can expect alittle trolling but this just bs honestly.
