EP Pro's vs Prophet 100's

So, I have researched this and searchbarred but have nothing of much help so I'm looking for some advice. I'm doing my first season this year in Breckenridge, CO with the Epic pass and am looking at riding a fair amount of powder at Vail and other places whilst away.
At the moment I am torn between the more traditionally cut Prohet 100 and the EP pros with some extra rocker and early rising tips. I'm looking for something with good all-mountain capablilty and something which will ride powder nicely too.
I'm about 5'5" / 5'6" looking for something around a 170cm length. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any help.

Personally I'd go for the Prophets as I'd use them everywhere. But if you're just going to be pow then go for the EP pros as I believe they are not as stiff as the Prophets and might be better overall.

I am with M_H on this one. The answer really depends on the ratio of skiing you will do. I bet you will get a couple of responses that will say that the EPP is good enough everywhere else, but that is not true. You are giving up a lot of on-piste control with the EPP. That being said, they are incredible pow skis. If you are doing 75% pow on a regular basis, or could get some other slimmer sticks then definitely grab some EPPs. If you plan to do a more even amount of skiing all over the P100 are stinkin awesome. They are actually my ski of choice.

Yes I hadn't actually though about the SFB. I hear that it's slightly stiffer than the EP pro and handles a little better on the groomers and around the mountain as well as the powder.
Anyone have any experience with the SFB?

i picked some up in a shop. they look really cool. haven't skied them, not really sure why they have them in a shop in DE either. They have obsetheds and a couple other big skis as well.

We have all sorts of big mountain stuff in my shop, for one it something to talk about, two the shit looks fucking sweet on the wall.
As for an actual answer to this thread... the new SFB or Prophet 115 would be much better choices. The SFB is much more playful, better in deep snow, and you can take it in the park and won't hate life, it does ski really short though. The 115 will be a stronger ski on the crust/crud/chop days, floats well, feels like a big gs ski on groomers, just don't take them in the park.
There might be other choices that will work better for a one ski quiver out there from other companies, but those two are pretty killer, one freestyle based and one freeride based.

word. if you can actually work a ski then the SFB will just feel plush and boring, the prophet has much more life and will tackle just as much as the SFB minus deep deep stuff. But for that reason line made the 115. early rise with traditional side cut and the prophet flex make it the ski for you.

Prophet 100 i skied on them last year great durable ski, great on crud. We dont always get powder in Colorado this ski will hold an edge on the iceyest of days. go with this ski.
