That's fucking shitty, man, I feel bad for you. However, if you end up at any of the schools on that list, then props to you 'cause those are all incredible schools -- especially the first seven. Are you/ were you getting recruited by all of them to row?

yay! you won't have to kill me haha. thats really cool that he got in. yeah my bff got into stanford... i wish you the best of luck getting in, i'm sure you'll get in to a good place. if you want to go ivy or something like that really badly, usually people can make it there no matter what.

fuck this. im really happy for everyone but it's so hard to have every single one of my friends get in early (not exaggerating) but know that i still have it all ahead of me. i wish i'd applied to brown. fucking stanford

i was totally in your position. i had friends with 4.0s being deferred and rejected left and right, but then had others with legacy getting in places and i felt like there was absolutely no way i was getting in. you just have shut it off as much as you can and just work hard on your apps, email those coaches, visit the coaches and then you'll be done.

well, i guess you learned something from the process? as much as it seems like it sucks, now your ahead of a bunch of the people in the regular pools. usually reg decision pools are not as competitive as the early pools at ivies. so think about it that way.

uvm has a vip notification system that is rolling admissions and i think is based off of PSAT scores

I got an alumni interview last week for Duke. It went really well. It seems like such an awesome school with so many amazing programs.


I definitely agree on the email system. I have so many different log in IDs and passwords and the actual college websites are terrible to navigate.
